Whether it's dance or drama the low light of a theatre are difficult conditions for taking photographs. At Instant Event Photography we use some of the best digital SLR cameras and lenses available. These enable us to capture even the darkest scenes.

Dance

Dance brings even greater challenges with low light and fast action. With our 20 years in the business we have developed the skills needed to get that one time shot, first time, every time.

What do we offer

There are two services we can offer. Firstly we can capture the action from one of you live shows and have the pictures downloaded to our website, allowing the dancers and their family to view and order their pictures for at least a month. In addition we can also offer studio portraits to allow fantastic staged photos with the dancers in their costumes, in either groups or on their own. This is done using one of our portable studios and can either be at the school or even back stage at a show.

Dance Festivals

There’s nothing worse than lots of flashes going off during a performance while proud parents try to capture the memories of their child’s performance. The solution is to allow the professionals to take the photos and have them ready to buy in the foyer within minutes.

We have multiple viewing stations to allow the dancers and their parents to view the pictures within minutes of the performance and have them printed immediately.
